Who is Mrs. Piner?

Educator

I have been in the education field for over 19 years. I have taught on the Elementary level for most of my career. I have also taught High School and even Pre-K students. I have been a Media Specialist for 7 years. This is my first year in Coweta County and in middle school (at Lee). I am SUPER excited to be here and to be a Timberwolf!

Mom and Wife

I am happily married to my husband, Corey, of 9 years. We have 3 children between us. We have our son Cody, a daughter Emily, and our youngest, Isabella (Bella). We also have 9 animals. A black lab (Buford), two chihuahuas (Champ and Boomer), a cat (Maddie Rose), and a ferret (Montana), and 2 iguanas (Boudreaux and as of now the other).

Life-Long Learner

I have my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology with Media Certification, and a Specialist Degree in Educational Technology. I never stop learning...I am currently working on my Google Certification and I am currently contemplating  whether or not to go back to school and get my Doctorate Degree.
